| Login | Please register yourself with your user data, so that you can order from the shop. If you are not yet registered, you can do so under "register". Enter the necessary data into the appropriate fields. Now you are registered and able to order directly. If you do not want to register yourselves yet, you are requested to do at the latest with an order or an inquiry. |
| Selection of Articles | If you are already customer at Schmedt, you may know our articles. Perhaps even our article numbers or designations. Then you may order immediately, if you are logged-in or have been registered. You will find an article by writing either the article number or a part of the number into the appropriate field or the article indication. If the number or designation is not clear, a hit list is indicated to you, from which you can select the desired article (through double click). The article is now indicated. If possible, you may select the appropriate variation (e.g.: size or color) and enter the desired quantity. The appropriate price is indicated to you directly. To order please click on "into cart". If you want to start another search , please click "New". |
| Additional Data | With some article the indication of additional information could be necessary e.g. for cutting into 100 x 80 cm long grain or the minimum size of a skin of at least 40 x 60 cm. Please put these information into the appropriate field "Comments" which will be displayed at the end of your order. Appropriate references are given to each article |
| Ordering |
After you have selected the article and entered a quantity, you now can proceed to order, click on "into cart" As confirmation for your action, the article will be added to your shopping cart. f you are finished with your order, please click "Check out" in the left menu to confirm your order. |
| Finish Order | Please check your order list and amend if necessary the quantity or delete an article you do not want to order. You may add articles as well. If you have changed an item please click "Recalculate". If you have a Coupon please enter the code now. The appropriate discount will be displayed immediately. Please choose the shipping mehtod now. UPS is our standard carrier and the costs will be shown in your order. Costs for other carrier will be charged separately. Finally you may select your payment method. Please notice, that for initializing orders "open account" is not an option. For payments with credit card you may enter your data now. Your information is protected through our secure server system (SSL). For payments in advance our bank details will be displayed at the end of your order. With click on "Next" you can check your personal information and change if neccessary. Now please confirm our GBT and proceed with "Next" |
| Conclusion | Here you see a summary with the ordered articles and may change or cancel the order by using "Previous". You may also add your comments on this order or specified articles here. The order is now completed and you finish the procedure with click on "next". Now you can print your order and then go back to the shop. |
| Confirmation | After execution you will get an e-mail with the confirmation that your order was received and will be executed immediately. In case we are not able to supply in time, you will get an order confirmation. You may print a summary of your order. |
| Current progress | During the order process, you can see the status of the order on top of the site. You may go back and forth to the steps you have already finished to check again or to change data. After sending your order you can not go back again. |
