Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of marbling and transform paper into artistic and unique pieces! With the AscoColor eco marbling set small, you get everything you need for a successful start at paper marbling – ideal for paper up to DIN A4.
Unlike traditional marbling dyes, which are oil or turpentine-based, AscoColor eco Marbling dyes are environmentally friendly, water-based and low in odor. High-quality organic pigments ensure intense colors and vibrant patterns. They are extremely easy to use: the colors are applied to the prepared marbling solution, gently distributed and then absorbed with paper – creating new and surprising designs time and time again.
Note: When using paper that is not included in our range, we recommend testing the marbling ability of the material in advance.
Everything you need for your creative marbling experience:- Color variety: 9 coordinated individual colors (30 ml each) for endless design possibilities
- Marbling ground: A 50 g tin of Gelasco Marbling Ground for the first color batch and a 400 g tin for long-lasting marbling fun. The marbling ground consists of cellulose and is easily mixed by hand.
- High-quality accessories: a plastic marbling tray (35 x 24 cm) – ideal for A4 formats, three marbling awls in different widths, and a fan brush (size 6).
- Exclusive marbling paper: 20 sheets of bright white and 20 sheets of natural white (each in DIN A4) – perfectly matched to the colors.
- Expert knowledge: Detailed step-by-step instructions, developed with marbling expert Barbara Kelnhofer, guide you safely through the entire process.
Usage tip: Shake the bottles well before use to distribute the pigments evenly.

Die Marmorierfarbe haftet nicht so gut auf der Papieroberfläche und verschmiert etwas. Woran kann das liegen?
- Der Marmoriergrund ist nicht optimal eingestellt, dass kann z.B. an der Härte von dem verwendeten Wasser liegen, welches von Region zu Region unterschiedlich ist. Nutzen Sie daher am besten destilliertes Wasser.
- Niedrige Temperaturen sind generell problematisch beim marmorieren. Achten Sie auf ein normales Raumklima und darauf, dass der Marmoriergrund/Sud und die Farben die gleichen Temperaturen haben.
- Eventuell ist das verwendete Papier nicht geeignet. Verwenden Sie am besten Papiere mit einer rauen Oberfläche. In unserem Shop finden Sie extra Marmorierpapiere. Wenn Sie sehr glatte oder verdichtete Papiere verwenden möchten, dann muss das Papier mit Alaun bearbeitet werden. Das empfehlen wir aber nur fortgeschrittenen Marmorierkünstlern.
