BookPrintArt Fair 2023: Art and creativity for a good cause

Creative minds, sustainable innovations and social commitment united at BuchDruckKunst

From March 31 to April 2, 2023, the popular BuchDruckKunst fair took place in Hamburg-Barmbek. Lovers of books, print art and design came together to share their passion for art and creativity and to do something good at the same time.

We were also present again this year and were able to put a smile on many faces with our donation campaign. Visitors could receive an individually embossed notebook for a donation of at least 5€. This quotation was enthusiastically received. Especially our new vegan leather alternative SIDRA was very popular with the visitors. This environmentally friendly and sustainable alternative to conventional leather impressed visitors with its quality and appearance. Both foil stamping and blind embossing looked very chic on the material.

In total, almost 1.500€ were donated at the BuchDruckKunst. We - as the Schmedt company - rounded that up to a full 1,500€. These proceeds will benefit the Arche in Hamburg-Wandsbek, an organization that cares for disadvantaged children and young people. In our opinion, this is more important than ever in this day and age.

To sum up, BuchDruckKunst was a complete success for everyone involved. Thus, the fair was not only able to inspire with inspiring ideas and handicraft art, but also to contribute to a good cause.
