Benefits of genuine endpapers

Endpaper forms an indispensable part of a bound book and plays a crucial role in terms of visual elements, durability and robustness of the hardcover binding. Genuine endpaper consists of folded sheets that act as a link between the book block and the book cover. Without a genuine endpaper, the stable connection is missing, which can have a very negative effect on the book quality. To enable the production of finished hardcover book blocks using common adhesive binding techniques in a single operation, we produce - from two folded sheets of real endpaper and a paper-laminated gauze for the spine - the Combined Endsheets PräziCover.
