Hello, if I am using this for bookbinding and would like the grain direction to be parallel to the spine, should i order the landscape or portrait size? It seems the landscape size is long grain, which should run parallel to the spine, but I am not a German speaker so I am not sure!
Hi, it depends on your book format. If you have a portrait book, you want the boards to be long grain. If you have a landscape book, you want the grain direction to be short grain. The spine board would generally always be long grain, as you want the fibers to run parallel to the spine. This can be very confusing at times.
