Product information "Gelatine Type 1"
Very inert gelatine with high gel strength (Bloom value), alkaline-treated with an iso-electric point (IEP) around 5. It has a very low ion concentration and a low conductivity.
- Type of gelatin : Type B - Alkaline treatment (e.g. from cattle split)
Application: for restoration of photographs, films and glass plate negatives; for paper splitting processes to preserve historical documents
