Shipping & Returns

1 Delivery time and availability

We deliver our goods daily (on business days). Shipping is from Hamburg, Germany. Orders received before 12:00 noon (CET) are usually shipped on the same day, otherwise we normally fulfill orders within 24 hours.

The delivery time may vary depending on the product. The current delivery time can be tracked on each product page. However, if the product is in stock, this information always applies only to the quantity that is in stock. As soon as you add more items than in stock to the shopping cart, you will receive a message in the shopping cart. Please note the estimated delivery date in the shopping cart and in the checkout.

Hurried shipments can also be sent (at a cost) by express or courier.

The shipment, unless otherwise expressly agreed, is always at the expense and risk of the customer in accordance with our General Terms and Conditions. With the handover of the goods to the carrier (post, parcel service, carrier), the risk passes to the customer. Exception: The orderer is a non-commercial customer in the sense of the EU consumer protection law.

2 Shipping companies

We deliver our shipments in general by GLS, DHL Standard and DHL Express. Countries outside the EU and Europe are only partially delivered by GLS, DHL or DHL Express, but sometimes with other carriers of our choice. Deliveries within Hamburg we carry out if necessary with our own delivery service.

Consignments weighing more than 30 kg are also delivered in Germany and Europe by truck forwarding (usually DB Schenker). To other countries we also ship by sea or air freight, depending on the agreement (please contact us for an individual offer). Freight forwarded goods are delivered free to the curb - if you need further transportation, please contact us before ordering so that we can provide you with an individual quotation for transportation.

On request, we also offer neutral delivery with your own delivery bill.

3 Shipping costs

The minimum order value is EUR 25,- plus VAT.

3.1 Shipping costs Germany

Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the shopping cart, the selected shipping method and the shipping address. In addition to the shipping costs, we charge a transport insurance of 0.3% of the order value, plus VAT

Free shipping

Orders are freight-free from a value of goods of EUR 250,- plus VAT.

Exception free shipping:

Heavy goods such as cardboard or cardboard and machines weighing more than 40 kg. For these items, the freight will be charged separately or a surcharge.

Costs for express or expedited shipping will also be billed separately.

Bulk goods

Bulky goods are defined as goods that exceed the dimension 120 x 60 x 60 cm when packed. Among other things, this applies to some types of fabric and large sheets of cardboard. We do not ship these goods by DHL Standard (the shipping method is not selectable). For express shipments (by DHL Express) we cut roll goods to a width of approx. 115cm (orders <= 3m are delivered in pieces of 1m x roll width). If you need the full width, please contact us before ordering. If the full roll width is required, we have to charge a bulky goods surcharge of EUR 30,- plus VAT for delivery.

Dangerous goods

Dangerous goods (such as spray cans, flammable substances) we can not ship by DHL Standard or DHL Express. Therefore, shipping is generally only with GLS and DB Schenker.

3.2 Shipping costs Europe & Worldwide

Shipping costs are calculated automatically based on the shopping cart, the selected shipping method and the shipping address. In addition to the shipping costs, we charge a transport insurance of 0.6% of the order value, plus VAT.

Free shipping

Orders are free of freight charges in the following countries from a value of goods of

  • 500,- EUR: AD, AT, BE, CH, CZ, DK, ES, FI, FR, GI, HU, LU, MC, NL, PL, SM, SE, SI, SK

plus VAT.

Exceptions free shipping:

Heavy goods such as cardboard, some types of glue and machinery weighing more than 40 kg. For these items, the freight will be charged separately. You can find a notice on the product page for every product this applies to.

Costs for express or expedited shipping will also be billed separately.

VAT

EU: VAT will not be charged for European countries if the customer account is set to commercial, a VAT ID is stored in the customer account and the country is enabled for VAT-free delivery.

Worldwide: In countries outside of the EU, we generally deliver VAT-free. You pay after import the respective import VAT of your country and any customs clearance costs.

Bulk goods

Bulk is defined as goods that exceed the dimension 120 x 60 x 60 cm when packed. Among other things, this applies to some types of fabric and large sheets of cardboard. We do not ship these goods by DHL Standard (the shipping method is not selectable). Dangerous goods

Dangerous goods (such as spray cans, flammable substances) we can not send by DHL Standard or DHL Express. In addition, air and sea shipping of these products is generally not possible, so we cannot ship them to islands, Finland, Norway, Ireland, Iceland, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and countries outside the EU. These items are clearly marked in the item description.

4 Transport damage

Please check incoming goods for damage immediately. If the packaging is damaged, have the damage immediately confirmed in writing by the deliverer (post office, parcel service or freight forwarder), e.g. on the waybill, and document the damage (e.g. by taking a photo).

  • For postal delivery, please report the damage within 24 hours at your post office.
  • For delivery by a parcel service, please report the damage to us within 48 hours.
  • If delivered by a freight forwarder, please report the damage to us within 4 days.
  • If the packaging is intact but the contents are damaged, please report the damage to us within 48 hours.

5 Complaints & Returns

Cloth (up to 5 meters) and blanks that are specially cut or cut to size as well as embossing foils in narrow rolls are excluded from return or exchange.

Compensation due to transport damage is only possible after timely notification of damage (see above).  You can obtain a return slip for the return shipment via our customer service. For other complaints, please clarify the procedure with us by telephone or in writing. Goods returned freight collect will not be accepted by us.

For non-commercial buyers that are residents in the EU applies a right of return of 14 days, in which the goods can be returned even without giving reasons, provided that the goods are undamaged. The return must be carriage paid, freight collect returned goods will not be accepted by us.
