Notebooks for a good cause

The "BuchDruckKunst" fair in Hamburg-Barmbek became a place of creative exchange and community at the beginning of April. We offered a special highlight at the fair: you could purchase a blank notebook from us, with an individual embossing to personalise it. The response was overwhelming - we were able to sell more than 200 of these unique items.

Many visitors were even generous enough to donate more than the minimum amount of 5€, so that we were able to collect a proud 1,200€ at the end of the fair. We decided to increase the amount to 1,500€ and donate it to an organisation that has an impact on our community: DIE ARCHE in Billstedt.

The Arche is an important children's and youth facility that caters to 60-150 children between the ages of 5 and 13 in Hamburg-Billstedt. It combines its open work with course and play projects at schools and offers a wide range of quotation. The children enjoy a free lunch here, a weekly children's party, and they receive homework help and tutoring. In addition, there is a wide range of leisure and sports activities and even holiday camps.

At the end of May, the time had come: we had the privilege of handing over the cheque personally to the children and young people of ARCHE. Mrs. Hesse, the director of the site, also allowed us to visit the building and exchange ideas with the children and young people. It was an unforgettable experience to see the shining eyes at the sight of the cheque and to feel the heartfelt gratitude.

The afternoon reminded us why we started this campaign: to do good, to support, to make a difference.

We are proud and grateful that we were able to support ARCHE. Community and solidarity can still make a big difference today. We look forward to doing more campaigns like this in the future and supporting even more people and organisations.
