The PräziSheet is designed for fast accurate and automatic trimming of pre-printed and/or film-laminated cover sheets to prepare them for case-making. The machine may be used as a component within the Cover-1 case-making system or as a standalone machine. It is controlled by a tablet PC included in delivery. The cover material must be printed with a black border representing the trim mark.
Process
- The pre-printed cover material is placed on the machine table. Sensors recognize the trim marks, suction cups hold the material and guide it into the correct position for trimming.
- The material is turned automatically and is ejected to the rear when trimmed.
- The perfectly trimmed covers are now ready for case-making and may be glued.
- The cut size of each sheet can differ as the machine will register the cut locations by sensing the pre-printed borders of each successive cover sheet.

| NB: | The height and width cannot both be 29.5" at the same time. There is no fixed maximum value for the height or width – the diagonal measurement is the determining factor. Both values are also limited by the maximum cutting width of 29.5". |

Advantages
The printed material is cut on-demand and is then ready for gluing. A whole stack of material can be inserted that is then processed by the machine. All four sides are cut automatically. No format settings are necessary thanks to the automatic recognition of the size of the material by sensors. Book covers can best be produced with the PräziSheet as a component in the Cover-1 system. Nevertheless, it is also possible to use the PräziSheet as a stand-alone machine.

Combined in the barcode-controlled Cover-1 system
The PräziSheet is a component of the barcode-controlled Cover-1 case-making system. The Cover-1 system is a semi-automatic system for producing book cases, especially for the requirements of on-demand production. All format settings are transferred to the system via a barcode - this makes true on-demand production possible.
